About Rachel:
I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up loving theater and singing. I graduated from Turpin High School and then came to the University of Cincinnati. My curiosity about how things work led me to the industrial design field. I have learned so much on my five co-op experiences. I studied in Paris, France for a semester at ENSAD (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs). I’m going to miss college but I am so excited for the next phase of life.

For my senior capstone project I am going to create a mobile retail environment that is built on what Macy’s newest private brand, Bar III, encompasses. It will take the form of a temporary pop up store. It will make use of tastes, smells, feels, sounds, and visuals in this atmosphere. There will be focus on lighting and window displays.
